AO-B225

Description

AO-B225 is a pre-mixed antioxidant system made from a specific blend of BHT (AO-1010) and DLTP (AO-168). Unlike AO-B215, AO-B225 is formulated in a different ratio to target extended heat aging and oxidative resistance, making it ideal for use in tough environments and demanding polymer systems.

It’s especially effective in systems requiring low discolorationdurability, and processing stability under stress.

Mechanism & Features

  • Extended protection from thermal and oxidative degradation
  • Specially tuned BHT-to-DLTP ratio for tough applications
  • Improves service life in outdoor and under-hood conditions
  • Suitable for high-speed, high-shear processing
  • Low interaction with pigments or flame retardants
  • Dust-free handling and good dispersion in resins

FAQ

Q1: What’s the key difference from AO-B215?
AO-B225 has higher DLTP content, giving better heat aging resistance.

Q2: Can it be used in cable applications?
Yes. AO-B225 is ideal for wire & cable grades needing aging stability.

Q3: Will it affect color brightness?
No. It is low staining and suitable for light-colored and filled materials.

Q4: Is AO-B225 compatible with flame retardants?
Yes. It shows low reactivity with phosphorus-based FRs and synergists.

Q5: Can I mix it with other stabilizers?
Yes. It is often used with HALS or UV absorbers for full stabilization.
